Call for Manuscripts

Upcoming Continuing Education Theme Issues

The Journal of Midwifery & Women's Health (JMWH) is soliciting manuscripts for our upcoming special continuing education theme issues. We welcome all types of manuscripts. All manuscripts for continuing education theme issues undergo the usual JMWH peer review process and are not guaranteed publication.

Clinical Rounds

Do you have an interesting experience with a client to share? Clinical Rounds is a brief report of 1000-2000 words and maximum of 8 references. The format includes a description of a case that is unusual, educational, or highlights an area wherein the management is controversial followed by a brief review of the evidence for management or discussion of controversy. Case reports are evaluated for publication on the basis of their educational value.

Guidelines for Submission

• Submissions should be no more than 2000 words with 8-10 references
• Include a statement at the end of the report documenting verbal consent for submission from the patient and/or parents or guardians as appropriate
• Include a cover page that has the title, 20 word précis, authors name, address, phone, fax and E-mail contact information.
